The righthander spent eleven seasons toiling in the minor leagues before getting his chance to pitch for the A's in 1962. Dan was out of baseball in 1957 and 1958, but he returned in 1959 and appeared in 53 ballgames. At 35, he's a top reliever.



Yusei's 32 starts in 2019 were the most of any American League rookie. The best of them was a two-hit shutout of the Toronto Blue Jays on August 18.



Richie was the greatest rookie hitter in Philadelphia's history. He set eleven club records as a freshman. Starting only his third year with the Phillies, Richie is the acknowledged team leader. Teamed up with Johnny Callison, Richie and his teammate give Philadelphia perhaps the best one-two punch in baseball.
