A series of injuries slowed Taliaferro down in the early stages of 1954 but he came on fast late in the season. Has completely recovered now and is set to regain his slot as the Colts best back, which he held in 1954. A great runner, an above average passer, a fine receiver, and a dependable punter, Taliaferro is considered by many to be the best all-around back in the game.
Looking to improve on recent disappointing seasons, the Patriots took a step in the right direction when they selected Bledsoe with the first overall choice in the 1993 NFL draft. The 6-foot, 5-inch strong-armed quarterback excels as a dropback passer. As a junior at Washington State in 1992, he was named the PAC-10's offensive player of the year and earned first-team all-conference honors.
