The Rams depend on Norm's strong arm to roll up scores and his toe to get them out of danger. For 5 straight seasons, he either won or was runner up for League Passing Honors. Norm led the N.F.L. in '55 in Punting, with long, booming kicks to move the Rams out of their 'back yard'.
Frank made a fine debut in '55 by placing on the Pro Bowl Squad. Preceded by a fine reputation made in college, Frank lived up to his notices - and more. A fierce blocker he can cut a big path in the enemy forward wall and toss earth trembling downfield blocks. At college he was a real ball hawk, recovering the most fumbles for the Irish and saw more action than any other Notre Dame tackle. Frank was the Steelers' No. 1 draft choice in '55.
