As found on his 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter card, Ben Sheets of the Brewers has compiled a 55-62 win-loss record over 149 appearances. The St. Amant, Louisiana resident to date has posted a 3.83 career earned run average, and disposed of 826 batters by the strikeout route.

"Dobby's" Earned Run Average in '52 was fifth best in the American League. He's been hurling in the Majors since '39 when he was brought up by the Indians after 2 seasons of minor league ball. From '41 through '50, Joe was with the Red Sox. The White Sox against whom he had a 17-6 lifetime record got him for the '51 season. He played in 156 games without an error to set a Major League record for pitchers.

Versatile and speedy, Jose was drafted from the Houston organization. An excellent hit and run threat, he can hit to all fields with good power. Jose can play either second base or in the outfield.
