MY BIGGEST THRILL IN BASEBALL by Pete Runnels. It came last year against Detroit. We were trailing 1-0 in the last of the 9th. We had runners on second and third and one out. I came off the bench to pinch hit, and assumed a 3-2 count from the fellow I was pinch hitting for. I had only one swing, and I was lucky enough to get a base hit and win the game. It was the first time I ever batted with a 3-2 count on me before I got to the plate.
