Jorge made the move to Seattle in 2024 after a decade of excellence in Minnesota. He provided the same quality production for the Mariners, recording a 12.5% BB rate with five HRS in his first 41 games.



Gil's Batting Average took a severe drop in '52. He had .303 marks in both '50 and '51 for the Senators. After breaking in with Kingsport in '44, Gil had a terrific season with Chattanooga in '45 when he led the Southern Association in Batting (.372), Homers (16), Triples (28), Doubles (40) and Hits (201). He was with the Senators in '46 and after hitting .340 with Chattanooga again in '47, Gil came back to Washington to stay.



Omar is such an accomplished artist that one of his paintings has been put on display in downtown Cleveland. His proficiency with oil and canvas, however, cannot compare to his artistry with leather. Vizquel, the only Indians SS ever to win a Gold Glove, has become the AL's defensive prototype. In '96, he became an offensive force, as well, setting career highs in most categories.
