Jim is one of the most consistent performers on the Reds' staff. His ERA was tops on the club in 1965. The fireballing righthander is all set to stack the lumber again in 1966.

In organized ball since 1939, Joe impressed the Yankees with a Home Run against them in an exhibition game, while playing for Amsterdam in 1942. He joined the Yanks at the end of the '48 season. Sent down to Kansas City in '49, Joe hit .319 and was recalled to finish the season in New York. Playing 108 games at First Base and in the Outfield in '50, he hit .234, but boosted his average 52 points in '51. A World War II veteran, Joe didn't start the '52 season because of an injury.

Gil Hodges played in his first game as a Dodger back in 1943 and he didn't hang up his spikes until the middle of the 1963 campaign. In a career which spanned two decades, Gil cracked 370 home runs and compiled a lifetime batting average of .273. The powerful first baseman had his best season in 1954 when he batted .304 and clouted 42 home runs. The Washington Senators' skipper holds the National League record for grand slam home runs - 14. Mr. Hodges tied a major league record in 1950 when he slammed four home runs in a ballgame vs. the Braves. One of the most popular men in baseball, Gil is the epitome of courage, good sportsmanship and integrity in America's favorite pastime.
