Tommy had a great year in the Pacific Coast League in 1954, earning him a late season spot with the Yankees in his comeback. He has a lot of friends and they are rooting for him in 1955. With Seattle last year he had a 20-10 record for 36 appearances. He struck out 199 men and walked 118. His ERA was 3.15. For the Yanks he had a 3-2 record for 5 games and a 2.70 ERA. Plagued by control during his first major league go-round.

Joe is a promising member of the Boston Braves, playing in the outfield, and his father was a star in the Texas League years ago, and got a trial with the Phillies, but suffered a broken ankle. Joe Mowry is 24, 6 feet tall, and weighs 195 pounds. He throws right-handed, but bats either way. He was secured by the Braves last year from Minneapolis where he was hitting at a .360 gait. He batted .348 with Minneapolis in 168 games in 1932. In May, 1934, he was transferred to the Albany Team of the International League."
