Name that player!

Nicknamed "Jungle Jim", Rivera is a real hustler. Last year he led the A.L. with 25 stolen bases. Jim loves to make "circus" catches in the outfield.

Gair was promoted to the Pirates last season and stepped into a full time infielders' job. He played 95 games at shortstop and 19 at 3rd base to demonstrate his versatile fielding ability. "Gabe" started with New Orleans and in '52 played in the most games of any So. Ass'n shortstop. In '53 he hit .242 for the Pelicans and came up to add strength to the Pirates' defense.

Eddie Miller, playing in the American Association in 1938, was regarded as the outstanding shortstop for that league. He is an excellent fielder and a damaging hitter, driving in 80 runs in Kansas City last year. Baseball experts predict that Eddie Miller will be one of the mainstays of the Boston Bees' infield for many years to come.
