"George Darrow, new left-handed pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies, led the Texas League last year in percentage of games won, capturing 22 victories, while being beaten only 7 times. He is a six-footer, 28 years of age, and weighs about 170 pounds. Darrow is a college man, having studied at Washburn College.
