Hustling Pete is the spark plug of the Cincinnati infield. The 1965 campaign was Pete's most successful in the majors. He is truly one of the coming stars in the National League. Many experts pinpoint Pete's contribution to the high finish of the Reds in 1965 standings.

Roy found a home with the Senators last year and showed his gratitude by leading the team in Homers and R.B.I.'s. He placed 6th in the American League for driving in runs and had a terrific .446 Slugging Average. Roy broke with Hannibal in '47, and showed his terrific power by leading the League in Runs, Hits, Homers and R.B.I.'s. In '49 with the Browns, he was Rookie-of-the-Year.

Big Steve has spent most of his career as a first baseman, but seems to be strictly an outfielder now - although that could change. He was in 89 games for the 1953 edition of the Detroit Tigers and hit .302. Had 84 hits and drove in 46 runs. He's been in pro ball since 1939. Steve began in the Yankee organization and came up through their chain to the parent club in 1946. This was after he left the service. Was in 47 games that year and hit .302. His nickname is "Bud."
