Name that player!

Joey was one of two first-year Brewers named to MLB Pipeline's All-Rookie Team (Jackson Chourio). He was among the leaders at third in Defensive Runs Saved.

Playing in his first All-Star game last year, Max West hit a home run with two men on in his first and only time at bat. The blow, as it developed, eventually helped the National League win from the Americans, 4 to 0. Such is the power that the Boston Bee outfielder has displayed on occasion and has made him one of the most sought-after ball players in baseball. In his fourth season with the Bees, West may hit his stride this year. He has proved that he can drive a ball as far as anybody in the league, but he has failed to reach the consistency demanded of great ball players. He drove in 72 runs last year on 137 hits.

MY ADVICE TO YOUNGSTERS by Milt Bolling. My advice to youngsters who desire to become a professional baseball player is to first finish college. Obtain your education, so that you will have something to rely on if you fail at baseball. I am a college graduate. However, I obtained my degree by going to college in the off-season. I don't advise this, because not many boys I will continue their education after they have a substantial income. Finish school, then venture into the professional game.
