Moore has been in pro ball since 1929, and in the majors has seen action with Cincinnati, St. Louis, Boston and Brooklyn. And as June 1940 begins Gene Moore will be wearing the uniform of the Boston Bees having been traded to them by Brooklyn fo little more than the waiver price.
