The 1916 Sporting News M101-4 and M-101-5 sets were released only a few years after the famed tobacco card sets produced by the American Tobacco Company.



The 1911 Turkey Red baseball cabinet cards, also known as T3, were introduced by the American Tobacco Company. The set consists of 100 baseball designs.



"Lefty" put in 3 years in the minors and 3 years in the Navy before he made the majors with the Yankees in '46. Sent to Kansas City in 1947, he won 16 and lost 9 and was recalled at the end of the season. In 1948, Bill was traded to the White Sox and had a 9-20 record. He came back in '49 to win 15 while losing 13 and in 1950 he had a 10-16 mark. In December of 1950, Bill was traded to the Red Sox. He sketches for a hobby and is quite good at it.
