Andy is rightly one of the most popular fellows in our national pastime. He is a wonderful fielder with a top-notch throwing arm. In addition, he's a dangerous man at bat. He was in 140 games for the Braves in 1953, and hit a nice .297. The fact that he hits a long ball is attested to by his 23 doubles, 4 triples and 17 homers. He batted in 72 runs.
Gary Gentry: In 1967, Gary's first year in baseball, the righthander compiled a microscopic 1.59 earned run average. Last year, the righty won 12 games at Jacksonville.
