Playing in the big league is an everyday thrill, but for one big thrill, it would have to be an exhibition game that I played in between the Dodgers, and the Yankees at the Stadium, for a sandlot baseball fund. A record crowd was there. I played third and got a hit. The thrill was that Joe DiMaggio was playing, and just being able to play before all those people and for a worthy cause, on the same field with the Yankee Clipper... well, it was one of my biggest thrills.
