Clem is one of the smallest men in the majors. He appeared in 98 games for the Pirates in 1952, playing at second, third and short. He had 84 hits for a total of 101 bases. The Pirates drafted him from Toledo at the 1951 meetings. Because of his size he was advised against playing pro ball, but he has exceptional determination and hustle. Was signed in 1946 after Army discharge.



Frank began his professional baseball career with the Buffalo Club in 1928. He entered the majors in 1933 with the Cleveland Indians with which team he is now playing.



Bob won 21 games in 1953, his second straight season in the 20 game winners' circle. He has played the infield, outfield and pitched during his baseball career which began in 1938. During 1942 he did no pitching at all. When he came back from the service in 1946 he was considered a pitcher, but got into a total of 102 games that year and the next as an outfielder. Pitched a no-hitter in 1948. Led in complete games in 1948 and also in shutouts.
