Signed by the White Sox in 1991, Magglio tore up the Venezuelan Winter League in his native country on his way to becoming a star Major Leaguer. Over the 5-year stretch from 1999 to 2003, he averaged more than 30 home runs and 110 runs batted in. He made four All-Star Game trips and captured two Silver Slugger Awards. Detroit added Ordonez in 2005.



As noted on his 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter card, Shawn Green was acquired by the Diamondbacks via a trade with the Dodgers, January 11, 2005. The Tustin, California resident has amassed 726 hits in his career to date, 303 of which were four-base knocks!
