The 1911 Turkey Red baseball cabinet cards were designed for “preferred” tobacco customers and available as premiums in exchange for coupons from three companies: Turkey Red Cigarettes, Old Mill Cigarettes, or Fez Cigarettes.



Got into 131 games in 1950. Hit .219. Drove in 58 runs. First joined Indians for 34 games toward end of 1941. Started next campaign with Baltimore, but was quickly called back to Cleveland. Next came 3 years in the service. Returned to be the Indians' first-string catcher. Led AL backstoppers in putouts in 1947 and 1948. Led in double plays in 1948. Hit .224 in 152 games in 1949.



The offensive leader of the 1965 Yankees, Tom was high man on the club in batting, hits, doubles, home runs and runs batted in.
