Name that player!

Came up to Yankees from Kansas City as part of famous double play combination of Rizzuto and Priddy. Traded to Washington to make room for "Snuffy" Stirnweiss and then, in turn, was traded to Browns. Clubbed out .296 average last season on 166 hits, driving in 79 runs. Participated in 132 double plays-tops in last season's American league play.

The second-fastest player ever to pair 20 HRs with 20 SBS in a career (107 games), Julio's 2022 debut recalled that of another Mariners rookie: Ken Griffey Jr. Manager Scott Servais calls Rodríguez "a gifted player," adding, "to be 21 years old and swing the bat the way he does, the way he runs the ball just jumps off his bat... You just don't see that."

"Cotton" is up for another Major League trial because of his fine record at Rochester in '53. He had brief trials with the Red Sox in '47 and '48, then was bought by the Cards and called up in '50 after a 14-8 mark and 2.75 ERA at Columbus. He played in the outfield for Columbus in '51 and then returned to the mound to win 14 for Rochester in '52.
