Set Playoff Record with 43 Points. Scored 5 Goals 12-6-87 vs. Minn.

The game's all-time leading scorer completed his 13th NHL season by heading the league in assists and the Kings in scoring. Gretzky was third in the NHL in points in 1991-92 and won his second straight Lady Byng Trophy. He entered the 1992-93 season holding or sharing 58 league records.

Scrambling Gerry Desjardins is the darling of the LA fans. Both Montreal and Toronto owned him at one time, but failed to keep him. Says face mask improved his confidence. Likes to trap pucks and pass to defensemen.

Back to the Front! Kings card back du jour...

Luc Robitaille
Luc earned his third selection to the All-Star First Team in 1990 after a season in which he led all NHL left wings in scoring for the second straight time. He marked his fourth NHL campaign by cracking the 50-goal barrier for the second time (he scored 52) and passing the 100-point barrier for the second time. Luc also led the NHL in shooting percentage, scoring on 24.8 percent of his attempts. Despite a sensational first year in junior hockey, the King winger wasn't drafted until the ninth round of the 1984 draft. He has appeared in three All Star Games and scored two goals in a 62-second span in the 1990 game at Pittsburgh. He won the Calder Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year in 1986-87, the only King ever to win the award.
