Jean Ratelle
Born Lac St. Jean, Que., Oct. 3, 1940. 6'1", 175. Shoots left. He started each of the last two seasons with Rangers, then wound up in minors. Tall, rangy and fast in deceptive way, he has potential for NHL stardom.

Rangers joined NHL in 1926 with Lester Patrick as coach. Team's original forward line of Cooks and Boucher rated one of finest in history. Hall of Famer Ching Johnson also starred on original Ranger team.



Seventeen shutouts in two seasons have solidly established Eddie as the new "Mr. Zero" in the National Hockey League. The Rangers gave up four players worth $75,000 to get him in 1965. He played more games than any other goalie last season.



Bright prospect in Toronto system, Arnie was acquired by Rangers last February in five-for-two deal. Aggressive as defenseman, Arnie has had two pro years in AHL, going from Rochester to Baltimore after Rangers dealt with Leafs.
