Born Wetaskiwin, Alta, Dec. 2, 1933. 5'9", 160. Shoots left. Val is one of smoothest skaters in NHL, used as penalty-killer with Wings until Rangers drafted him last June. Val's speed makes him dangerous on breakaways.
Brad is a top-notch defenseman, with a flair for offense. He was a first team All-Star in 1969-70 and second team last season. Poise with the puck and a stinging slap shot are two of his other assets. Brad is also the aggressive type, and good at clearing the puck from his zone.
Tony was named to the NHL's All-Rookie Team in '91-92 after leading all first-year players in goals (35), points (69) and power-play scores (9). The speedy winger spent the entire season on the Rangers' No. 1 line with Mark Messier and Adam Graves. Tony made his NHL debut for New York in the 1991 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
