Joe Klukay
A veteran of nine years of NHL play, Klukay is a down-to-earth, honest workman type of player that is a blessing to every club when the going is rough. Never a prolific scorer, Kluke only managed 8 goals but kept the opposition from scoring about 3 times that many. He has a knack of getting and keeping the puck for long periods of time, and is very effective in a penalty-killing role.

The oldest active player in the N.H.L., Johnny spent 11 years of his first 12 as a pro playing in the minor leagues. Toronto gave him a second chance in the 1958-59 season and he has starred ever since. A stand-up type of goalie, Johnny is at his best in crucial games.

Sid Smith
A tremendous opportunist and known for his ability to be in the right place at the right time. This resulted in his scoring 33 goals last season to bring his total to 154 in six years in the NHL, an average of better than 25 per season. His great all-around play resulted in Sid winning the All-star left wing position, and the Lady Byng trophy for the second time in 4 years.
