James Pappin
A smooth skating right winger, Jim has yet to play a full season as a Maple Leaf. This year Punch Imlach hopes that after a great season with Rochester in the A.H.L. (36 goals and 51 assists in 63 games) Jim will finally develop into the Right Winger Leats need to balance their line-up.

Name that player!

One of the fastest skaters in the N.H.L. Dave has consistently been one of Leafs top scorers, never scoring less than 20 goals a season since turning pro. A real favourite with the fans because of his small stature and terrific speed.

Jim makes up in ability what he lacks in colour. He goes about his work without fuss or fanfare. Rival forwards rate him as one of the toughest defensemen to deke out of position. He gives them a rough ride any time they try to dipsy doodle through.

Sid Smith
A tremendous opportunist and known for his ability to be in the right place at the right time. This resulted in his scoring 33 goals last season to bring his total to 154 in six years in the NHL, an average of better than 25 per season. His great all-around play resulted in Sid winning the All-star left wing position, and the Lady Byng trophy for the second time in 4 years.
