Name that player!

A veteran of nine years of NHL play, Klukay is a down-to-earth, honest workman type of player that is a blessing to every club when the going is rough. Never a prolific scorer, Kluke only managed 8 goals but kept the opposition from scoring about 3 times that many. He has a knack of getting and keeping the puck for long periods of time, and is very effective in a penalty-killing role.

Mike was up with Leafs for 6 games last year but sent to Rochester for further development. Is given a good chance this year to land a starting spot and hopes to become the 3rd N.H.L.'er from Kirkland Lake currently playing in the N.H.L.

Gordie played outstanding hockey last season which was his rookie year in the NHL and was among those considered for the Calder Trophy award. Only team-mates Kennedy and Smith stood ahead of him in Leaf scoring.

Back to the Front! Maple Leafs card back du jour...

Theodore "Teeder" Kennedy
A tower of strength on his team, the Leaf captain was out with a shoulder injury for part of last season. Missing 27 games, he nevertheless stood well up in the NHL scoring race. He stands eighth in lifetime scoring and points among active NHL players.
