September 29, 2003: Weekly Wrap Up: Setting an NFL record with five first half touchdowns, Alexander's heroics keyed the Seahawks to a 48-23 conquest of the Vikings on September 29 in Seattle. Beginning with an 80-yard reception, he scored three times within a span of only 65 seconds late in the second quarter. He ended the game with 231 total yards, 139 of them on the ground.

Quarterbacks coach Carl Smith used to fret when his QB left the pocket - until he started coaching Russell. "When that happens, I start getting happy," Smith says. "Something good's about to happen." In 2013, Wilson game-managed, scrambled and passed the Seahawks to the ultimate title. Russell, who logged a 123.1 passer rating in the Super Bowl, has won 28 games (including playoffs) in two seasons.

The Seahawks will pair Sam with defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy to give them a potent defensive line. Adams was a consensus first-team All-America pick in 1993 after posting 24 tackles for losses, including 10 1/2 sacks.
