Seahawks Coffee Talk
Name that player!

Warner loved playing for coach Chuck Knox. "Chuck's offense gave me freedom," he told the Spokesman-Review. "There's textbook plays and then there's football plays... never exact. Sometimes my best runs were for 2-3 yards, sometimes you make a couple guys miss in the backfield just to get back to the line."

According to his highlight tape on YouTube, Collins' nickname is "Beastmode Jr." Although he's slotted to help replace the original "Beast Mode" in Seattle, the rookie has a different style than Marshawn Lynch. His blazing speed and ability to change directions on a dime make the tailback a home-run threat on any play.

Walker knew what he could do heading into his rookie season, and after the fact, he earned plaudits for his self-belief. The sensational Seahawks halfback needed just 11 starts over 15 games to rack up 1,050 rushing yards in 2022, finding the end zone nine times along his way. That earned him a nod on the football writers' All-Rookie team.

Back to the Front! Seahawks card back du jour...

Matt Hasselbeck
Look no further than Matt's new long-term contract as evidence that the Seahawks are convinced he's the man to lead them to the next level. Holder of the franchise record for passing yards in a season (set in 2003), he was off pace last year - until December, when he was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month after completing 72 percent of his chucks and averaging 285 yards in four games.
