Lions Card of the Day

Roger Brown
Despite his great size, Roger is very fast. He has been timed in 5.4 seconds for 50 yards. He is feared as a pass rusher and he really plugs up the middle of the defensive line. He worked as a disc jockey in college for his tuition.

Name that player!

The Lions gave up Milt Plum, Pat Studstill and Tom Watkins to acquire this quarterback. The ex-Ram completed 27 passes in a 1965 game, the top mark by an L.A. quarterback in 14 years. Bill is strong-armed and accurate.

One of the smartest defenders in the game, Joe puts up a "No Trespassing" sign in the Lions' secondary. He can diagnose plays brilliantly and is rarely out of position.

Transferring from a major college power to another, Williams hit the ground running when he arrived in Tuscaloosa. The junior from Ohio State produced a 94-yard touchdown catch in his first game with the Crimson Tide on Sept. 4, 2021 against Miami. His four TD catches of 70-plus yards set a season record for Alabama.
