Name that player!

This is Bill's first season in the NFL. He starred for UCLA as an outstanding two-way player. Stits played more minutes during the past two seasons at UCLA than any other Bruin player. In '53, he carried the ball 41 times for 291 yards, a 7.1 yard average. Defensively, he rates with the best in the college game. He picked off eight enemy passes during the 1952 season, returning for 235 yards, just ten yards shy of the NCAA record.

Last year was John's third straight year as an all-pro and a member of the West's Pro Bowl Team. He is one of the league's finest offensive guards. He does an exceptional job as a pass protector and in leading wide running plays.

Despite the fact that he was sidelined by injuries for a large share of the 1952 season, Walker returned in the late stages to help spark Detroit's championship drive. Scored on 67-yard sprint against Cleveland in Championship game. Former great All-American star at Southern Methodist. Led the NFL in scoring with 128 points in first year in pro game.
