Doak Walker
Despite the fact that he was sidelined by injuries for a large share of the 1952 season, Walker returned in the late stages to help spark Detroit's championship drive. Scored on 67-yard sprint against Cleveland in Championship game. Former great All-American star at Southern Methodist. Led the NFL in scoring with 128 points in first year in pro game.

Graduate of same school that gave the world the gifted "Dutch" Clark... named to UP All-American in 1943... earned All-Big-Seven Conference honors in 1943-46-47. Helped Western All-Stars to a 42-7 win in the Shriner's game. Served as a lieutenant in the Navy... won the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for action off Okinawa.



Rocked-ribbed Alex is one of the Lion's strong men. In college he won many coveted awards and led his lowa team to the Rose Bowl in his junior year. He wrestles professionally.



In Week 9 of 2012 against Jacksonville, Stafford had the Lions offense running on all cylinders as he racked up 285 passing yards in a 31-14 win. In the process, Stafford became the second fastest to 10,000 career passing yards, finishing just one game behind Kurt Warner, who did it in 36 contests.
