A proven forward, Lou moved his talents to guard last season as a result of his outstanding play in the 1968-69 playoffs. The switch enabled him to defend against smaller guards and gave him more shots. As a result he enjoyed his finest scoring season and helped the Hawks reach the Western Division finals. Lou made the NBA Second All-Star team in 1969-70.
Bob is regarded by experts as the top performer in the game today. Last season, he roared back after suffering a broken wrist to lead the Hawks to the Western Division Championship. In his Freshman season, Bob won the Rookie of the Year award and he topped the loop in total points in 1955-56.
All-time leader in REB and BLK at Indiana U...Only IU player to rank in school's top 5 in PPG, RPG, BLK and STL...Compiled 2nd-best FG% (.597) in Hoosier history last season.
