One of eight players ever to record a perfect score of 50 in the NBA SlamDunk Championship, Cedric Ceballos entered the 1993 affair attempting to become just the second player ever to win back-to-back slam-dunk titles. He recovered from missing his first dunk, and with a 45.1 on his final dunk of the opening round, Ceballos earned a berth in the finals. He couldn't recover when he missed the first dunk of the finals, however, and ended up taking third place overall in the event.



Drafted by Phoenix in second round, 1986... National Honor Society scholar in high school.... Brother Jay is in L.A. Dodgers farm system.



Was credited with 224 assists,1972-73. Blocked 52 shots for Suns in 1974-75.

Connie Hawkins
Already a "super-star" after 1st year in NBA, Connie was Prep All-American at Boys High in Brooklyn. After attending lowa, he joined Pittsburgh Rens of American Basketball League where he was loop's MVP at age 19. Connie then played with Harlem Globetrotters 4 years & after that signed with Pittsburgh Pipers of ABA where he was loop's MVP in his 1st year as he led the league in scoring percentage.
