Name that player!

Ed set mark for shortstops in 1972 with only 7 errors committed all season.

"Three times within the past two years he has come within an ace of pitching a no-hit game, allowing only one safe blow on each occasion. On August 5, 1932 there were two men out in the ninth inning when Sheriff Harris, Washington pinch hitter singled to spoil a perfect game for Bridges. Tom Bridges hails from Gordonsville, Tenn., where he was born in 1906. He is a right-hander, 5 feet, 10% inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds. Last year he won 14 games and lost 12 decisions."
