Pat Mullin
Moved up to Tigers from minors for end of 1940 season when he appeared in 4 games. He started following season at Buffalo and played 16 games when Tigers recalled him. He hit .345 for Tigers, then joined military services. He returned to Detroit outfield in 1946. Last season was his best since he returned. He played 138 games, hit 23 homers and had a .288 batting average. He batted in 80 runs.

Though on the disabled list for more than a month last season, Mickey still compiled the highest batting average on the club. In 1966, the outfielder's favorite team was Cleveland. Against the Indians' pitching, Mickey batted an incredible .459. As a pinch-hitter for The Bengals, Mick batted .333 last year.



Most 1909 T206 Set cards were distributed in packages of cigarettes but some were in packages of Polar Bear scrap tobacco (those often have tobacco stains and residue on them).



Dillon's first MLB hit was no cheapie, 105.8 mph off the bat and driving in a run. He smashed his first roundtripper on August 11 against the Giants.

Dick was in 38 games for the Tigers during the course of the 1954 season, 2 starting appearances and 36 relief jobs. He won 5 games and lost 4, working 84 innings and giving up 76 hits. He walked 40 men and struck out 39 batters. In August 1952, with Buffalo, he pitched a perfect game against Baltimore of the International League, winning 2-0. Dick began in baseball in 1948 with Flint. He first appeared in the majors at the end of the 1951 season with Detroit.
