Name that player!

Mgr. Mayo Smith's World Series surprise was Mickey Stanley as the Tiger shortstop. The skilled outfielder is also capable of subbing at first base.

Nearly a century after his retirement, Ty is still the template for what it means to be a hard-nosed player. The all-time batting average leader (.366) stacked up nearly 2,000 RBI despite hitting only 117 homers - an AL-record 46 of which were inside-the-park.

Parker showed his fielding chops in September by racing 48 feet in 3.4 seconds for a diving catch. He shined in all the defensive metrics in center field.
