Name that player!

A 'Strikeout Artist'. "Lefty" ranked 5th in the American League with 127 Strikeouts in 1951. He holds the American Association Record, fanning 20 men in 1 game in 1949. To add, he had 2 no-hitters to his credit while pitching for Scranton in '46 and '48. He's been a winner since he came up with the Red Sox in mid-season of '49 after a brief trial in '48. His 7-3 record of 1950 is his best. In the off-season he's an athletic instructor.



Ceddanne is a focused competitor. He missed the call for his MLB promotion due to playing his Playstation. First big league homer vs. Yankees, 9-12-23.



Billy showed his versatility last season with fine performances at 3rd, 2nd and Shortstop. One of the fastest men in Baseball, he uses his speed to scoop up the 'sure hits' and turn them into outs. Signed by Boston for a $60,000 bonus in '53, Billy played in 47 games as a freshman and was also used as a pinch-runner. As a youngster he starred in American Legion ball.
