Name that player!

One of the most popular players ever to perform in the Memphis area, Larry broke nearly every conceivable record at Memphis State while earning All-America honors. He set school records for scoring in a game, season and career. He also set records in free throw accuracy and assists. Larry is a playmaking guard who is expected to be a key in the Memphis offensive attack during the 1974-75 season.

Sam is fundamentally sound but unassuming player who plays taller than he is thanks to his 77-inch wingspan. Sam Co-captained the 1984 gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic team. He led the Mavericks in offensive rebounds in the 1989-90 season, during which he posted the highest per-game scoring average of his career. With a degree in radio/TV, Sam feels he would be a disc jockey if he weren't playing in the NBA.

A giant among giants, Wilt the Stilt is almost impossible to be stopped around the basket. He leaps high and stuffs the ball in with nonchalant grace. He grabs rebounds from heights high above the heads of the other fellows. He dunks field goals with two hands and pulls off rebounds with one. Given any daylight, he will swoop into the goal with one giant stride and roll the ball down his expansive palm just inside the front lip of the goal. His stamina is amazing. A defensive stalwart, he blocks shots repeatedly. Here, enjoying the game, he dunks in a 2-pointer.
