The only unanimous choice to the ABA All-Defensive Squad for 1972-73, Roland hasn't been chubby since his childhood but still answers as readily to "Fatty" as he does to Roland. He tries to pick his spots for a steal. He doesn't go after the ball all the time but when the opponents relax against him, he jumps in and strips them of the ball.



Carter is a defensive playmaker who routinely brings possessions to a halt with his hands. Over two seasons with the Providence Friars, the busy guard recorded 117 steals and 67 blocks. Eager to add that kind of production to their backcourt, the Kings tabbed him 13th overall at the 2024 draft.
