Name that player!

One of the most exciting players in the majors, Willie Mays is a great baseball star. He performs wonders out in center field and practically makes one great catch every day. He was the NL's MVP in 1954, he hit 51 homers in '55, and led the league in stolen bases for the past two years. Duke Snider has merely hit 40 or more homers for the past five years, in addition to being a top RBI man and a .300 hitter. On defense, he has few equals.

Stargell was an October legend in Pittsburgh, winning league championship series and World Series MVP honors and helping the team to a pair of titles. It was only fitting he packed one more highlight into the month at his longtime home park. On Oct. 1, 2000, the Hall of Famer threw out the ceremonial final pitch at Three Rivers Stadium.

Of the four Cobb cards in the 1909 T206 Set, his green background portrait card is the most sought after.
