MY ADVICE TO YOUNGSTERS by Jim Brideweser. My advice to youngsters is to play baseball as much as possible and see as many games as you can, looking for playing techniques that will improve your baseball. One of the better southpaws in the National League, Ken had a remarkable season in 1967. He spent most of the year on active military duty, pitched only on weekends but still managed to post a perfect 9-0 record! Ken also had the distinction of winning the game which clinched third place for the Cubs.
