Josh had the best fielding season of his career in 2024, amassing 1.2 Defensive WAR while staffing four positions for the Mariners. On June 15, he homered and reached base four times in a win over Texas.

When "Iron Man" Lou Gehrig quit baseball last year, the job of filling his shoes went to "Babe" Dahlgren. Few thought that Dahlgren, regarded as a great fielder but not as a hitter, could ever do the trick. The "Babe," however, while hitting only .284, contributed a great deal to the Yankee defensive system, chipped in with 161 hits, 89 runs-batted-in, and scored 92 himself for a highly satisfactory performance. Dahlgren's fielding, was sensational - he participated in 140 of the 159 double-plays the Yankees made. The "Babe" came to the Yanks from the Red Sox, where he was understudy to Jimmy Foxx, and a general utility infielder.

A fractured hand kept Hank from playing the entire '53 season. In '52, he was voted the N.L.'s Most Valuable Player, blasting 37 Homers and leading the League with 121 RBI's. Hank started in '37 and was up with Cincy 3 times before joining the Cubs in '49. Since then he's averaged 30 Home Runs per year.
