Robin's strong right arm helped the 1951 Phillies salvage some satisfaction from a season that was mostly disappointment. He chalked up a 21-15 record. Started the most games in the league (39). Pitched the most innings (315). Record an earned run average of 3.03.



One of Chicago's fine young hurlers, Rich jumped to the majors after only spending one season in professional ball. Rich won 13 games as a rookie, finishing the year strongly by winning four out of his last five decisions. His performance that season was topped on the Cubs only by 20 game winner Ferguson Jenkins.



In September of 1966, Ron drove in 22 runs and helped lift the Dodgers from 3rd place to their 2nd straight pennant.
