Don has been in the majors 3 years, has been with four American League teams, beginning and ending with St. Louis. He started with the Brownies in 1950, hit .273 for 139 games. In June of 1951 he was traded to Chicago. In November of 1951 he was sent to the Red Sox. 1952 saw Don play for Boston in 30 games, then Detroit for 45, and finally back to St. Louis for 18 games.



Cass started in organized baseball with the Chicago White Sox at the end of the 1943 season and played two games. He spent the beginning of the next season with Little Rock and played 54 games for them, hitting .356. The White Sox recalled him for the remainder of the season, and he has been with them ever since. Last season he appeared in 145 games and hit .248, driving in 56 runs.



Joe hurled in the Minors in '52 after 5 straight seasons with the A's. His best season in the Majors was '48, when he made the League All-Star team and turned in 14 wins. He had 13-14 record in '49 but won only 1 game the next 2 seasons, while he had a sore arm. Joe broke into pro ball in '41 with Newport News and served in the Navy Air Force for 3 years.
