In three out of his four years in the major leagues, Minnie has batted over .300. In 1954 his .320 average was the second best in the League. He appeared in 153 games and had 182 hits. He had the most triples in the league, 18. He also had the most total bases, 304. He had 29 doubles, 18 triples and 19 homers among his hits. Minnie batted in 116 runs and scored 119. Began in baseball with Dayton. He first came to the majors with Cleveland, and in April, 1951 was traded to the White Sox.
