"Red" Schoendienst led the National League in 1950 in doubles (46). Went to bat most times (642). Sacrificed most times (16). Played in all Cardinal games. Broke own NL fielding records for consecutive games (44) and total chances without error (285). New record: 320 chances in 57 games. Hit .276 in 1950. Joined Cards, 1945. Has played third and short and in the outfield.



Standing 6'2" and weighing 205 lbs., the port-sider, as a Yankee, was one of baseball's best relief pitchers.
