"Brooklyn paid $50,000. in cash and players for Lombardi after the close of the 1930 season, but he spent only one year with the Dodgers, being traded to Cincinnati the following year. Breaking into pro ball at Greenville in '48, he won 19 and lost 8, with a 3.01 ERA and 152 Strikeouts. Bob had a 17-6 mark at Davenport with 133 Strikeouts in '49. With New Orleans of the Southern Association in 1950, he posted 12 Wins and fanned 92.
