Don set two records in 1968 when he pitched 6 straight shutouts and hurled 58% consecutive scoreless innings.

Don came to Baltimore this year after proving he can be mighty stingy in giving up runs to the enemy. Last season with the White Sox he posted his best E.R.A. in 5 Major League campaigns. Beginning in the Yankee chain, Don was with New York in '47 and posted a 4-3 record but Portland, Ore. was sent to the Minors in '48. After another stint with N. Y. he joined St. Louis.

Brendan played in the Florida State League All-Star Game (A) in 2005, confirming his status as one of the Cardinals top prospects. Drafted in the 7th round in 2003, he batted .311 for New Jersey (A) that summer. In 2004, he was promoted to Peoria (A), where he enjoyed a banner year. He led the team in batting (.322), runs (72) and stolen bases (30).
