In 58 games for Whiz Kids in 1950. Hit .209. Caught 83 games for Phils in 1949 and batted .271. Started with Terre Haute in 1946. Moved, next season, to Utica. Batted .325. Voted the most valuable player in the Eastern League. Promoted to Toronto, 1948. In a game played at Municipal Stadium, Jersey City, Stan batted in 8 runs. It was the first time that such a performance had been seen there.



In 67 games for the Pirates in 1950. Batted .203. Began in the Appalachian League in 1941. On baseball's voluntary retired list in 1942. Spent next 3 seasons in the service. Back on the diamond in 1946. Divided year between Charleston and Burlington. With Pirates' Indianapolis farm team, 1948 and part of 1949. Called up by the Pirates in 1949. Appeared in 73 games for them, hitting .322.



Ted led Florida State League shortstops in Putouts, Assists, Chances Accepted & DP's in 1961 and made the All-Star team. Also made All-Star team in 1963 as he was 9th in Batting in Northwest League.
