After a year marred by injuries, Jermaine looks to get back on track as one of the game's top offensive players in 2004. He was in his 5th effective season with Kansas City when he was traded to Oakland in late July. His 59 runs batted in helped the Athletics to a 58-14 record that year after his acquisition. He was a 2000 All-Star for the Royals.
1952 was first season in the majors for Billy as a regular, although he had been with Yankees since mid-1950. He's a scrappy, hustling, fighter, in tradition of good Yankee second basemen. In 1947 with Phoenix he led Arkansas-Texas League with an average of .392. He also led in at bats, hits, doubles, runs batted in, putouts and assists. Yankees purchased him from Oakland.
One of baseball's best base-stealers, Dave not only has the knowledge and the speed but also the quick acceleration. He had 27 Stolen Bases in the final 35 games of the 1976 campaign.
